The Rutherford Public Library Foundation held its fifth annual Gala at Il Villaggio on Saturday, May 13th. Underwritten by BCB Rutherford, 175 people joined the Foundation in honoring Mike and Tracy Paskas.

An integral part of the Rutherford community, Mike and Tracy Paskas are well-known for their generosity of time and resources. Since founding Rutherford Junior Football and Cheering in 1999, the Paskases have used their organization to benefit all segments of the community, and over the course of 18 years they have raised and distributed over one million dollars in both financial and in-kind support.

Guests at the event enjoyed an extended cocktail hour with hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, followed by a three-course meal with intermezzo in the main dining room.  Among the dignitaries were Mayor Joseph DeSalvo, Rutherford Council members Mark Goldsack, Tom Mullahey, Stephanie McGowan, Frank Nunziato, Sean Walker, Carolyn Smith, and Sean Walker, and Bergen County Freeholder Steven Tanelli.  The Foundation wholeheartedly thanks all who attended in support of the Library.
