Tomorrow will be quite a Saturday at the Rutherford Public Library! Here’s what we have to offer:

The Friends of the Library of Rutherford will host its second annual Literary Character Costume Contest, which will feature our patrons dressing as their favorite literary character or author. Awards in the following categories will be given out: Most Creative, Best Depiction, and People’s Choice. Those who attend can vote for their favorite at $1 per vote! The event will be held from noon to 3 PM.

The Rutherford Civil Rights Commission will also meet at the library on Saturday to screen the film King: A Man of Peace in a Time of War. This screening will take place at 1 PM in the library. All are welcome.

Can’t decide which event to go to? Why not both? We hope to see you at the library this weekend!
