BCCLS is a consortium of 75 libraries throughout Bergen County. Since Rutherford is a member of BCCLS, Rutherford residents have access to materials from all of these libraries! To find a book, search the BCCLS catalog. You can search by title, author, or keyword. Then, click “View all library holdings” for the book you want, and there will be a list of what libraries own it. If the book you want is owned by Rutherford, you can just come and pick it up! If it’s not owned by Rutherford, we can try to have it sent here via Interlibrary Loan (ILL)- a free service where the book is mailed to the Rutherford Public Library, and you can pick it up here. To request a book through ILL, enter your library card number (found on the back of your card) in the box on the right labeled “Place a request for this book”. We’ll contact you when it comes in!
