Databases are an excellent source of reputable information. Unlike websites, the information is checked, and often published elsewhere (like in a book). Databases require paid subscriptions, but they’re available for FREE for Rutherford residents, thanks to the Rutherford Public Library, BCCLS, and the NJ State Library. Databases are perfect for school projects, scholarly research, finding old newspaper and magazine articles, and more! Rutherford residents have access to: Academic Search Premier Click here for access instructions and further descriptions. |
The Rutherford Public Library offers access to the Ancestry.com databases and has many other available resources for genealogy resources. Click here for more information. |
