New Museum Highlight: Grounds for Sculpture

Looks like the weather is going to stay mild for a little while. Great news for those of us who like to spend more time outside! And we have added just the museum to visit for free, on us: Grounds for Sculpture.

Set on the former New Jersey State Fairgrounds in Hamilton on 42 acres of land, Grounds for Sculpture has a contemporary sculpture garden and an indoor facility with six galleries of rotating exhibitions. Rutherford residents can go for free with their library card. To make a reservation for the museum passes, call the library at 201-939-8600 or click here to reserve a pass yourself.

And don’t forget, you can visit many other museums as well! To see the full list, click here.

Celebrate Spring Coming Early with Help from RPL

gardenWhile it’s tempting stay outside all day, the Rutherford Public Library recommends you stop in and share the spring feeling with us! Read a nice spring story with your family, or get started thinking about planting that garden you’ve always wanted to have (look for the books numbered 635 in our nonfiction section)! We don’t know how long this weather will last, so let’s enjoy it with some great books!
