Scrapbook of Rutherford Memories

THE RUTHERFORD LIBRARY SCRAPBOOK OF MEMORIES IS NOW ON VIEW
The Rutherford Public Library is proud to announce that the scrapbook “Memories of Rutherford” is now on display at the Rutherford Library. The scrapbook, a project which the library initiated in March 2007 as an activity during Family History Month, features stories and memories from people who have lived in Rutherford as well as those who have made Rutherford a destination.
Writers remember Dr. Williams, shopping on Rutherford’s main street, going to the movies at the Rivoli, and more. Several contributors included copies of pictures as well.
Although the Scrapbook made its debut during the Borough’s 125th Anniversary Celebration, it is meant to be a work in progress. Anyone who would like to have a memory about Rutherford added to the scrapbook may send us a signed email, or pick up a form at the library, or download one of the forms below:
