The Board of Trustees meets at 7:00 PM on the second Tuesday of each month in the Library's Auditorium. Meetings are open to the public.

Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Rutherford Free Public Library has played a significant role in the development of the Library and its facilities and programs. Their work includes:
· community awareness of the library and its resources;
· providing support to the library for public functions;
· sponsoring and assisting in library programs;
· providing funds for materials and services not included on the library's regular budget.
